St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. November 6 Cordell Ray Lastrapes, age 23, 921 block of E. Madison Street, Opelousas, LA., 70570, Possession with intent to distribute schedule I CDS. Arrested by Opelousas City Marshals.

ECCBC Children’s Choir practice set The Eunice Community Concert Band & Choir Inc. announces its Children’s Choir rehearsals for the upcoming Christmas Concert. Rehearsals are set at 6 p.m. Nov. 21 and Nov. 27 at First Baptist Church.

Ville Platte men arrested in 4-wheeler thefts

Two Ville Platte men hsve been arrested in several four-wheeler thefts in St. Landry and Evangeline parishes, according to a St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s news release. Two juveniles also have been arrested in the ATV thefts.

Information sought in home burglary in Swords area

St. Landry Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a home burglary that would lead to an arrest. On Oct. 9, the homeowner reported a burglary in the 500 block of Sonnier Road, according to Lt. James Bergeron of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. The homeowner left his home around 9:15 a.m.
