Al Berard Memorial Fund begins fundraising

Al Berard Memorial Fund, a fund of Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA), launched its annual fundraising campaign for 2019. There are a variety of sponsorship levels that range from $2,500 to $250. All donations to the Al Berard Memorial Fund are tax deductible and should be made before Dec. 31.

Eunice Police report shooting

Eunice Police report they have responded to a shooting call at a business on the 1800 Block of West Laurel Avenue and one victim was transported to Acadian Medical Center. Injuries appear not to be life-threatening. Officers are searching for suspects at this time.
