Man found passed out in bathroom with child

A customer at Tobacco Plus opened a restroom door to find a unconscious and naked man on the toilet with a crying child on the floor, Eunice Police Lt. Ryan Young said. The man’s pants were down to his ankles and there was a syringe on the ground, Young said.

I-10 west remains closed after fiery, fatal wreck

Shortly after 2 p.m. Monday, a multi-vehicle fatal crash occurred on I-10 west approximately four miles east of Butte La Rose that claimed the life of 31-year-old Christopher McGee of Youngstown, Florida, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop I.
