The following are arrests by Eunice Police. Feb. 8 Isaiha J. Bradley, 20, 400 block of Cotton Avenue, Eunice. Possession with intent to distribute Schedule I drug less than 28 grams. Feb. 9 Jeremy Hilton Klumpp, 20, 2600 block of Alfa Romeo Road, Basile.

EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts the family of Shirley Touchet Cormier announces her passing on Saturday, February 09, 2019 at the age of 82. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice. Burial will follow at Mt.

John "To To" Manuel

John “To To” B. Manuel passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019, at the age of 84. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Chataignier. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Chataignier. Fr.Blaine Clement will officiate.

COA annual Mardi Gras dance set The St. Landry Council on Aging, Inc. will have its annual Mardi Gras dance from 1 to 3:30 p.m. March 4 at the Northwest Center in Eunice. Music will be provided by Big J & the Zydeco Dog Pound, Admission is $2 for age 60 and over. Anyone under 60 admission is $5.

Agnes Marie Ancelet Reiners

Agnes Marie Ancelet Reiners, fondly known to many as “Aunt Agnes”, passed away February 7, 2019, in Homer, La. Mrs. Reiners was born in Laccassine, La., on August 17, 1925. She grew up in Roberts Cove, La., and lived much of her adult life in Eunice, La.

Tips sought in Best Marine burglaries

Lt. James Bergeron of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is requesting help in solving multiple burglaries at a Eunice business. Best Marine located in the 200 block of Murphy Richard Loop was the victim of a burglary on Jan. 21.
