The following are arrests by Eunice Police. June 18 Regina Fontenot, 49, 100 block of Harp Lane, Eunice. Theft, released on summons. Joshua Ashworth, 28, 100 block of Pat Bidez, Eunice. Two bench warrants for Eunice City Court. Shaiheem O Mitchell, 24, 1100 block of East Ardoin Street, Eunice.

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. June 19 Ashley Nichole Hatcher, 28, 2800 block of Hwy. 361, Washington. Domestic abuse battery. Arrested by St. Landry Sheriff’s Office. Lonnie J. Lanclos Jr., 29, 1000 block of North 2nd St., Eunice.

Karen Cormier Rougeau

Karen Cormier Rougeau passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018, at the age of 64. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at 2:00 PM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow at St. Thomas More Cemetery. Msgr. Robert Romero will officiate.

Shots fired, charges include drugs

There as a report of shots, fired, an investigation and then an arrest on Saturday. At about 10 a.m., Eunice Police received a call about gun shots being heard on East Ash Avenue. When police arrived at the scene in the 200 block of East Ash they were given a description of the shooter.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office arrests

Paul Littell Johnson passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at the age of 76. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Msgr. Robert Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
