Eunice woman killed in crash

A three-vehicle crash on La. 10 at about 6 p.m. Friday killed Mary Chapman, 73, of Eunice, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop I. The preliminary investigation revealed a 2008 Hyundai Sonata operated by 74-year-old Stanley Nepveaux of Crowley was traveling west on La. 10.

Hazing among changes coming to Greek Life at LSU

LSU President F. King Alexander said Wednesday that the university would accept all 28 recommendations from the Task Force on Greek Life and added three new policies to improve the safety of Greek Life on campus. Alexander said one of the new policies includes a narrower definition of hazing.
