Fournerat Road burglary tips sought by Crime Stoppers

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs the public’s help to solve a crime. The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a residential burglary which occurred during daytime hours on Oct. 27 in the 200 block of Fournerat Road in the northern part of Acadia Parish.

Landrieu considering his future

With roughly six months remaining in his term, New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu said in a recent interview that he hasn’t decided whether he’ll endorse a candidate in the race to replace him and that he doesn’t have any post-election plans. “I don’t know where I’m going to go,” he said.
