Wounded suspect identified in hostage incident

Eunice Police officers were involved in a shooting at about noon Thursday at the intersection of Park Avenue and 9th Street that left 33-year-old Bryan Britnell wounded. The shooting occurred in the residential area after a report of a hostage situation, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
