EWE: Harassment claims a ‘serious problem’

Former Eunice resident leads police on high-speed chase

A Eunice Police officer planned to stop the car and give the driver a warning for not having his headlights on, Police Chief Randy Fontenot said. Sunset occurs a few minutes after 5 p.m. and it was 5:30 p.m. Saturday when the officer attempted to make the stop at South East Street and U.S. 190.
