St. Landry Parish Sheriff Office reports arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. Aug. 28 Dexter Stelly, 24, 100 block of Hickory Rd, Arnaudville. Aggravated assault with firearm. Aimee Leblanc, 37, 100 block of First St., Opelousas. Domestic abuse aggravated assault.

Eunice Police Arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. Aug. 25 Jada Jones, 19, 800 block of DeRouen St., Ville Platte. Bench warrant for Eunice City Court, probation warrant. Aug. 26 Lakeisha Vigers, 37, 100 block of North Aymond, Eunice. Serving time.

Edward Marvin Dietz

Eunice - Edward Marvin Dietz died peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 26, 2017, after a battle with dementia. At his bedside were his loving wife of 63 years, Lois Regan Dietz of Eunice, La. and his family.

True fiscal reform requires transparency
