Jessie B Road bridge construction completed

The replacement of the bridge on Jessie B Road that crosses Bayou Mallet is completed. Construction on the project began in February of this year. The project was executed to remove the aging cross-drain pipe and to replace the bridge. The $1.

Eunice High School graduate Dr. Leah Guempel Shipley is the owner of LG Audiological Enterprises named to Louisiana State University’s 2023 LSU100 list of fastest growing LSU graduate owned or led companies in the world.
Eunice firefighters responded to a trash fire at about 11:35 a.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of La. 13 north. Two firefighters, Jeremy Faulkner and Blake Smith, are dousing the fire near pens for chickens, ducks and dogs. Eunice Fire Chief Chaise Brown said, “The city marshal cited the homeowner for illegal burning.” Brown offered a reminder that a burn ban is in place.
