Terrariums are a fun, low-maintenance way to bring the beauty of nature indoors and make a great addition to any home. Creating a terrarium is a fun and easy project that can be done in a short time and enjoyed for many years.
Construction on new and extended walking paths and adult fitness equipment at the Eunice Community Nature Trail and Park is scheduled to begin Monday. During the first phase of the work, the eastern driveway and part of the track — indicated in red — will be closed to the public. The path indicated by the yellow lines will be open for use. School finalists elected

The St. Landry Parish School voted Wednesday to keep Milton Batiste III and Curt Green as their finalists for the superintendent job. The Board also set up a time line for next steps in the selection process. Through May 3 a community survey will be on the Board’s website.
