Tips sought in fatal shooting in Eunice

St. Landry Crime Stoppers and Eunice Police need help in solving a homicide in the city of Eunice. During the evening hours on April 6 officers responded to gunshots being fired near 951 West Walnut Avenue.

Dr. Zeb Stearns, a Eunice family practice physician, gave the history and origin of a coroner, and talked about his role as the St. Landry Parish coroner at the Rotary Club meeting Wednesday. The parish’s coroner seat opened when the former coroner, Dr. Russell Pavich, died on June 10, 2022.
