Eunice High School Principal Mitchell Fontenot is a semifinalist for state Principal of the Year for 2024. The state Department of Education announced Fontenot’s semifinalist status along with 23 other principals. In 2021, Fontenot was named a semi-finalist for Principal of the Year.
