Ice cream man busted in Basile for drugs

The delightful tinkling music of a neighborhood ice cream truck usually brings delightfuls miles, smacking lips, and great joy to young and old alike. On March 20, the tune and taste turned sour as Basile Police arrested Kirk James Robinson, 48, of Arnaudville, the owner and operator of a ice cream van that has been driven up and down the streets of Basile and other communities for the past several years.
