EUNICE~Baby Maverick James Elkins passed away on Thursday, November 02, 2017 at Women's and Children Hospital in Lafayette. Maverick was born on November 01, 2017 to Blake and Makayla Elkins of Basile.

Sidney Joseph Guidry passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017, at the age of 90.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lanell Rushing was held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017 in the Pine Prairie Christian Tabernacle. Reverends Barry Gautreaux, Johnny Wilkinson and Chris Juneau officiatied.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Anna Belle Savoy Matte, 82, who died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at 11:28 a.m. surrounded by her loving family.

The family of Dorothy Mouton Goudeau, age 87, is greatly saddened to report her death on Thursday November 2, 2017. She died peacefully at home with her family present.
