Teal season opens Saturday

By Trey Iles riles@wlf.la.gov The 2024 teal hunting season begins Saturday statewide and runs through Sept. 29, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) announced. Only teal species (blue-winged, green-winged and cinnamon teal) may be harvested during the early September season.

New boat ramp on Acadiana Conservation Corridor WMA

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has opened a new boat ramp on Louisiana Highway 29 on the west side of I-49 at the Acadiana Conservation Corridor Wildlife Management Area (WMA).

Boat ramp closes at Acadiana Conservation Corridor

Lights out urged for spring bird migration
