The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. January 25 Loresa Jean Strahan, 44, 700 block of W. South Street, Opelousas. Aggravated assault, resisting an officer. Arrested by Opelousas Police. Theodore J. Silas, 30, 300 block of Natchez Boulevard, Opelousas.

Church Point man arrested, linked to thefts

A 28-year-old Church Point man arrested earlier this month is linked to thefts and burglaries in the Lewisburg and Church Point area, according to a news release from St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
