01:38 Caller in 400 block of Ida advised that a subject is trying to get into his home.
A head-on wreck claimed the life of Joseph Lee Willis, 31, of Ville Platte,shortly after 6 a.m. Wednesday on La. 13 near Gilbert Road in Evangeline Parish, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop I.
Willis was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Sonic south on La.

03:20 Caller in 1300 block of Williams advised that he noticed a trunk opened.
A male and female were discovered stabbed death at a residence in the 500 block of Noah Daigle Road in the Richard Community west of Church Point, according to a news release from Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson.
The sheriff’s office was notified at 8:25 p.m. Monday.
