Robbery suspected in stabbing death of man, woman, both 71

A male and female were discovered stabbed death at a residence in the 500 block of Noah Daigle Road in the Richard Community west of Church Point, according to a news release from Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson. The sheriff’s office was notified at 8:25 p.m. Monday.
