Arvie is arrested for alleged indecent behavior

A former Ville Platte city councilman who is a teacher at Opelousas Junior High School was arrested April 28 for alleged indecent behavior with a juvenile. Taranza Arvie, 57, was booked into the St.

Eunice Police Arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. May 1 Jarickious T. Roberts, 22, 2800 block of Faubourg Road, Ville Platte. Special restrictions of lamps, red or green facing forward, careless operation, flight from an officer, aggravated flight from an officer. May 2 Juvenile, 14, Theft.

Mower, trailer stolen at KZ Crawfish

Detective Drake Pousson of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office returns to Crime Stoppers and needs the public’s help in solving a theft in the Eunice area. On April 23, deputies responded to KZ Crawfish located at 510 Highway 13 near Eunice. The owner reported that on April 22 at 6 p.m.
