St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. Feb. 23 - 26 Martin John Robertson, 56, 400 block of East Madison Street, Opelousas. Improper lane usage, DWI first offense. Arrested by Louisiana State Police. Ernest Colomb, 50, 100 block of JB Robert Road, Opelousas.

2 arrested in West Vine burglary, attack

Two men were arrested Monday for the Feb. 5 burglary and a attack in the 1400 block of West Vine, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot. During the incident a 78 -year-old man encountered two men in his residence after midnight.

Information sought about fatal hit and run

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding a fatal hit and run crash which occurred about 8:30 p.m. Feb.11 in the 1100 block of Lovell Street near Crowley.
