Information sought about fatal hit and run

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding a fatal hit and run crash which occurred about 8:30 p.m. Feb.11 in the 1100 block of Lovell Street near Crowley.

Ville Platte man accused of beating elderly disabled veteran

A 29-year-old Ville Platte man has been arrested and accused of striking an elderly disabled veteran with a tire iron at a Nuba gas station on Valentine’s Day. St.
