St. Martinville officer sentenced in bias case

Police: Burglar took the camera, but still appeared in the video

A Park Avenue burglar stole the video surveillance camera, but still ended up on a video that was viewed on social media, Eunice Detective Victor Fontenot said. The burglary occurred in the 1900 block of Park Avenue on Feb. 5 and haul of property out of the residence was substantial, Fontenot said.
