The following are arrests by Eunice Police. Feb. 13 Bethani Tovah Benjudah, 39, 600 block of North 4th Street, Eunice. Bench warrant. Ravis J. Guillory, 35, 300 block of Bacciochi Avenue, Eunice. Probation violation-hold. Vounlexus Ceasar, 20, 800 block of South Beulah Street, Eunice. Theft.

Eunice man who escaped parish is back in custody

A Eunice man who escaped from the St. Landry Parish Jail Monday and led law enforcement officers on a foot chase in Evangeline Parish on Monday was recaptured at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to Sheriff Bobby Guidroz. Ronald Adam McGee, 34, was spotted at about 1 p.m.

Acadia Parish sheriff requests informaiton about fatal hit and run

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking information from the public regarding a fatal hit and run crash, which occurred at about 8:30 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Lovell Street.

Unrestrained Church Point man killed in crash

A single-vehicle crash on La. 35 at Homer Richard Road in St. Landry Parish claimed the life of 25-year-old Darry Carrington of Church Point at about 10 p.m. Feb. 11, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop I.
