Eunice Police make arrest in Monday shooting

A 19-year-old Eunice man has been arrested in the shooting death of Oshae Doffney, 23, of Elton, on Monday. Eunice Police identified the shooter as Daricko Stevens who has been charged with manslaughter and obstruction of justice. Stevens was arrested Tuesday morning.

Maxie man arrested for Church Point burglary

51-year-old William Dewayne Faulk, 51 of Maxie has been arrested for a burglary that occurred Jan. 15 at a Church Point business, according to Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson.

Pedestrian dies in Sunset hit and run
