Sheriff: 2 are suspects to multiple burglaries

A couple of felons face multiple charges in connection with burglaries, according to Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson. Gibson identified the suspects as Christopher Byerley, 38, of Broussard and April Viguerie, 37, of Erath.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. Aug. 21 Justin Anthony Roy,36, 2700 block of Highway 178, Sunset. Bench warrant, domestic abuse aggravated assault, negligent injuring, simple assault. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Department.

Detectives with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office need your help in locating Kirklin James Booth. Booth is described as a black male, 21 years of age, being 5 feet, 8 inches in height and weighing 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair and his last known address is 200 Kathy Meadows, Apt.

MPD arrests Markeith Guillory following Saturday shooting

The Mamou Police Department has arrested one individual following a shooting that occurred early in the morning on Saturday, August 11, 2018. The incident was first reported at around 1:18 a.m. when a call was made from 513 Ash St. in Mamou.
