St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. Sept. 12 Brandy Elaine Gentle, 33, 2100 block of Jules LaGrange Road., Arnaudville. Domestic abuse battery, child endangerment. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Department.

Dead Eunice man ID’d as witness to killing

The only eyewitness in the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office’s investigation into a June murder was recently found dead in Eunice. The witness was identified as Jonas Vigers during a recent bond hearing for Brandon Perkins.

Eunice Police arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. Sept. 10 Wilkema Qunae Fontenot, 17, 100 block of Goose Street, Eunice. Resisting an officer. Holden Lane Gautreaux, 20, 800 block of South 10th Street, Mamou. Disturbing the peace and criminal trespass.

According to St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz, the inmate who walked off a work detail on Sept. 7, has been captured in the Eunice area.

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. Sept. 11 Shannon Marie Laycock, 31, 3500 block of Patterson Street, Pollock. Obstructing public passages, battery of a police officer, resisting an officer with force or violence. Arrested By Eunice Police.
