Suspect robs, assaults clerk at Subway

Sunset Police need help in locating the suspect involved in an armed robbery and sexual assault in Sunset, according to St. Landry Crime Stoppers. Just before 9 p.m. Feb. 22, Sunset Police received a call in reference to an armed robbery of the Subway located on Oak Tree Park Drive.

Burglar hit Lawtell business

St. Landry Crime Stoppers and is asking the public’s help in solving a July 4 burglary at Dave’s Monument in the Lawtell area. The owner reported that she was notified that an older model black GMC Yukon was parked in front of the business at 8:20 p.m.

St. Landry Crime Stoppers is asking for help in solving a June 19 armed robbery. Just after 9 p.m. a black male wearing black pants, a dark gray hoodie, and a pink bandana tied around his face entered the Lawtell Dollar General located on U.S. 190.

Tips sought in Cankton burglary

St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs help in solving a home burglary in the Cankton area. On March 19, deputies responded to the 1800 block of La. 343 in the Bosco/Cankton area for a residential burglary. The owner of the home stated he left around 8 a.m. then returned at 2 p.m.

St. Landry Crime Stoppers is asking for leads to solve a rash of home burglaries. On March 12, deputies responded to seven home burglaries in the south end of the parish. The suspects either kicked in the doors or broke windows to gain entry.

Crime Stoppers seeks information about multiple thefts at Lawtell

St. Landry Crime Stoppers and is asking for help in solving multiple thefts at Thibodeaux’s Electric in Lawtell. On Feb. 2, at about 3 a.m. video surveillance captured an unidentified dark colored vehicle park in the parking lot of the post office.

Information sought about Eunice burglary

St Landry Crime Stoppers needs help in locating the suspect involved in a burglary in Eunice. On Dec. 2, 2017, deputies were dispatched to 1019 N. 7th Street in Eunice for a residential burglary. A friend visiting the home owner noticed the kitchen door was wide open and a back window shattered.
