LONGVILLE – The No. 25 seed Lady Bobcats battled No. 8 South Beauregard, but the Lady Knights earned a 3-1 win over Eunice High in the opening round of the Class 3-A softball playoffs.
The Kaplan Pirates and the Lady Pirates took care of business on Wednesday by sweeping the Vermilion Parish Track and Field Meet.
Each school won the meet by at least 20 points.
A total of 16 players will be representing Notre Dame’s tennis teams at this week’s Division III Regional in Lake Charles.
