Two St. Edmund Blue Jays were named to the 4-1A All-District Boys Basketball Team as selected by the league coaches.

The Crowley Ladies banged out 21 hits, including 10 in the final two frames, to rally past Mamou, 11-7, in a contest that went eight innings Wednesday afternoon.
LAKE ARTHUR – The Lake Arthur Tigers simply did not have an answer for Notre Dame hurler John Hoffpauir Wednesday afternoon.
Hoffpauir, a senior, scattered seven hits and struck out six in earning a 5-0 shutout over the Tigers.
CROWLEY – The Iota Bulldogs continued their winning ways on Wednesday with a 14-3 victory over the Crowley Gents in a game that was halted after the sixth inning due to the mercy rule.
