Lady Bobcats honor seniors

The afternoon started with the Lady Bobcats honoring three seniors, but it ended with the Lady Demons celebrating as Mamou rolled to a 13-1 win over Eunice.

4-1A All-District team named

Two St. Edmund Blue Jays were named to the 4-1A All-District Boys Basketball Team as selected by the league coaches.
Alex Dupre and Henry Brown were named to the Honorable Mention list.

CHS Ladies outslug Mamou in extra inning victory

The Crowley Ladies banged out 21 hits, including 10 in the final two frames, to rally past Mamou, 11-7, in a contest that went eight innings Wednesday afternoon.

Notre Dame sweeps Lake Arthur

LAKE ARTHUR – The Lake Arthur Tigers simply did not have an answer for Notre Dame hurler John Hoffpauir Wednesday afternoon.
Hoffpauir, a senior, scattered seven hits and struck out six in earning a 5-0 shutout over the Tigers.

Bulldogs top Gents; Lady Dogs upend Church Point

CROWLEY – The Iota Bulldogs continued their winning ways on Wednesday with a 14-3 victory over the Crowley Gents in a game that was halted after the sixth inning due to the mercy rule.

N.D. seeking Shoe of Fame nominations

Each year at graduation Notre Dame inducts an individual into the school’s Shoe of Fame.

Brett Spell was masterful on the mound and Iota’s offense was just as impressive Tuesday in the Bulldogs’ 10-0 District 5-3A victory over the Crowley High Gents.
