The Bobcats ended the regular season with three straight wins as Eunice rolled to a 67-34 District 4-4A win over the LaGrange Gators. Eunice (6-4, 3-1) now waits for the LHSAA playoff brackets to be released later today to see who the Bobcats will face in the Class 4-A regional round.

Lady Bobcats have historic season

The high school volleyball playoffs began this week and four local teams advanced to the post season. No. 22 Eunice High fell 3-0 to No. 11 Haynes Academy on Tuesday. The Lady Bobcats set a school record at 22-9 overall.

Charles Manuel earned all-state honors as a Bobcat lineman. He is now a member of the Eunice High Sports Hall of Fame. His daughter, Monica Daville, said her father played football and participated in rodeo while he was in high school.
