By midsummer, many adults are thinking of ways to provide something for children to do until school begins.
The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by Wallace Trahan & Rice N Gravy.
Admission is $5. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m.
While they can’t prevent every illness while traveling, vacationers can go a long way toward safeguarding their health.

ROBERT — Tangipahoa Parish 4-H members were taught lessons in wetlands ecology recently at the Shell Training Center near Hammond.

East Elementary’s top AR first grade students were recently treated to a fun field trip at Peak Jump Park in Eunice. Students worked hard the entire school year in order to reach their AR goal and earn an invitation to the trip.
