Eunice High FFA represented at district leadership event

The Louisiana FFA Area III District 10 competed in a Leadership Development Event, held on LSUE campus Dec. 3. Multiple local FFA chapters attended the contest, where several placed at the top four, and will advance to the next level of competition.

First annual Christmas Festival

A Christmas Festival, sponsored by the Eunice Community Garden, was held Saturday evening at the garden with many kids and families attending. The Festival included Caroling down a portion of Park Avenue, roasting marshmallows, and drinking hot cocoa.

Class Act Student of the Week

This week’s Student of the Week is Elizabeth Soileau, a senior at Eunice High School. Her parents are Bruce and Tracy Soileau. If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live in New Orleans because it’s lively and historical.

Trahan at Liberty Saturday

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by Lisa Trahan & Friends. Admission is $5. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Starting at 10 a.m.
