Explore the history of Veterans Day

Paying tribute to veterans, on Veterans Day and throughout the year, can be a great way to show them just how much their efforts are appreciated. Eunice will honor and celebrate veterans on Monday at 11 a.m. at the VFW Post 8971 Hall located on U.S. 190 East.

Alicia G. Bielstein chosen Eunice High School Teacher of the Year

Eunice High School named Alicia Guillory Bielstein as Teacher of the Year. Bielstein began her teaching career in 2000, teaching in San Diego, California. She taught eighth-grade language arts. In 2002 Bielstein taught in Atlanta, Georgia, remained teaching one year eighth-grade language arts.

Eunice principals welcome new Central Middle principal

Eunice Junior High School served as the host site of a Parent Meet & Greet event Tuesday for newly appointed Central Middle School Principal Dr. Chastity Wilson. Wilson will be taking over at Central Middle School when Ranolviaun Landry retires after 33 years in education later this week.
