Louisiana Baptist Singing Women at First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church of Eunice will host the Louisiana Baptist Singing Women at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Louisiana Baptist Singing Women is an audition choir made up of women who are active in church choirs or music/worship programs all over the state.

St. Edmund School students place at science fair

St. Edmund hosted a science fair inside the school’s gym with middle school students presenting and displaying their projects. Students had to use the scientific process effectively by learning about hypothesis, testing their hypothesis and putting data together.

Highland 4-H Club sponsors Recycle Day

The National Catholic Daughters of the Americas organization recently celebrated its 116th anniversary. The local CDA Court Eunice 208 members celebrated the occasion by serving at the St. Thomas More 10 a.m. Mass on Oct.
