This week’s Student of the Week is Nathan Clark, a fifth grader at Central Middle School. His parents are Crystal and Robby Clark. If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live in Louisiana because a lot of my family lives in Louisiana.

Angel Vidrine Robert “Big V” and Melona Vidrine announce the birth of their daughter, Angel Lynn Vidrine, born at Acadian Medical Center on Oct. 7 weighing 7 pounds and 3 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Daniel and Lilia Sabucido of the Philippines.

Perfect attendance named at Eunice Elementary

Eunice Elementary lists its perfect attendance for first nine weeks of school period. Those students include: First grade: Elijah Simon and Ava Stevens, Brantley Lafleur and Laondyn Mott, Sawyer Duplechin, Cooper Gaspard and Jax Laird.

Glendale Elementary is beginning its fifth year of a feeding program, “Belly Buddies.” The mission and purpose of Belly Buddies is to provide yummy, healthy and nutritious foods to students in need.

Homecoming week at St. Edmund High School

Students at St. Edmund Catholic High School dressed this week for homecoming festivities. Monday was declared Movie Character Day; on Tuesday, students dressed in their favorite Decade; Wednesday was Safari Day for seniors and underclassmen dressed for Jungle Day.
