Bulb & Blossom Club at 125th celebration

Bulb & Blossom selects Residential Yard

The September Residential Yard Sign was presented to Donnie and Stephanie Thibodeaux at 1330 Park Avenue. The marker from Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden Club was placed among a flowering landscaped bed specially designed and planted with a variety of cactus and succulents.

Birth Announcements

Isla Robinson McKenzi Aguillard and Jacob Robinson of Elton announce the birth of their daughter, Isla Dove Robinson, born at Acadian Medical Center on Aug. 16 weighing 7 pounds and 6 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Tiffany and Jamie Higginbotham of Eunice.

Top Raffle prize at St. Thomas More Festival

Angelia Guillory of A & C Golf Carts LLC donated a golf cart to St. Thomas More Catholic Church’s annual Fall Festival’s Grand Raffle as the top prize. The cart is valued at over $6,500 and is fully customized. The drawing will be held Sept. 29 at 4 p.m. inside the St. Thomas More Social Hall.

Church history of First United Methodist

The First United Methodist Church in Eunice has been in existence since 1894. “Since 1894, First Methodist has been a Christian sanctuary for those searching for peace and love through the promises given to us by God through His Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,” said the Rev.
