Fall Fest this weekend

Always a good time. The annual St. Thomas More Fall Festival is scheduled for this weekend, beginning Friday. It’s an event designed for the entire family. The fun begins tomorrow evening at 6 p.m. and concludes on Sunday at 5 p.m. A family can bring their children to ride plenty of fair rides.

Final performances of ‘Crimes of the Heart’ at Eunice Players’ Theatre

“Crimes of the Heart’ is down to its final performances at Eunice Players’ Theatre. The two-act Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy written by Beth Henley and directed by Jody L. Powell, will finish its run with performances Thursday through Saturday, at 7 p.m. nightly.

Cooking Club at Highland makes applesauce

Highland Elementary recently held it’s monthly club day. Students in the Cooking Club learned how to make Crockpot applesauce. They were taught by Ashley St. Cyr how to peel the apples, core, and cube them before putting the apples and all of the needed ingredients in the crock pot.
