The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by LaRecolte.
Admission is $5 at the door.

“Southern Fried Funeral” earned top honors at the 49th annual Eunice Player’s Theatre’s Irving Awards.
Rickey Pittman, often called, “Bard of the South, visited St. Edmund and spoke to the school’s second, third, fourth and fifth-graders.
St. Edmund students and faculty were honored Monday to have visiting evangelists for the past straight four years in a row. Justin Fatica and Hard As Nails missionary team delivered a message of “Your Amazing-The Journey to Joy”.
Dahlia Khalifa, a recent graduate, was named as the outstanding academic student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
