Treats donated to Highland

Nathan Austin, a managing partner with Sonic, left, donated Route 44 coupons, corn dogs and cinna snacks from Sonic of Eunice as a snack treat for Highland Elementary’s monthly faculty meeting. Sonic of Eunice has partnered with the school donating to students and faculty.

Highland’s Student of Week

Maria Mendoza, a fourth grader at Highland Elementary, was selected as this week’s (March 25th week) Sonic Student of the Week at Highland. She was nominated for scoring all perfect scores on her Accelerated Reading quizzes during the third nine weeks.

EHS senior project helps the needy

Eunice High School senior Melissa Hernandez completed her senior proejct by donating canned goods and hygiene products to Eunice High. Hernandez held a drive by going to neighbors in her neighborhood and asking for donations for her project. Hernandez is with her mentor Pierre Martel.

EHS ‘Tabs for Cancer’ senior project

Bryce Durapau, a Eunice High senior, completed his senior project, “Tabs for Cancer.” For the past six months, with the help of Academic Services, Eunice Elementary teachers, and Eunice High teachers and students Durapau collected pop top tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
