Business Garden of the Month chosen

The Eunice Bulb and Blossom Garden Club selected a Business Garden of the Month. The marker was presented to Sirius Technologies located at 101 N. 5th St. The neatly groomed front yard of the business features a rock garden, and boxwood.

Top reader at Highland

Mike Meche at Liberty

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by Mike Meche & Cajun Stompers. Admission is $5. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Starting at 10 a.m.

Retired Educators Association honors six women at a program

The Retired Educators Association of St. Landry Parish celebrated its annual Women’s History Month during a program held at LSU Eunice Acadian Center Thursday. This year six local women were honored and recognized for their outstanding educational impact and dedication to the community.
