First Baptist Church in Eunice held its Vacation Bible School this week with a theme, “Game On!” Children kindergarten through sixth grade participated in games, activities, crafts, Bible songs and lessons, and enjoyed snacks.
St. Edmund School sixth graders observed International Day on May 11 in the Jeanmard Center.
The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by Cajun August Broussard.
Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m.

The heat is on! According to my desk calendar the first day of summer is June 21, and I beg to differ!
Hot days are here and in Eunice they will more than likely continue through September.
