The annual St. Landry COA Mardi Gras Dance

The annual St. Landry COA Mardi Gras Dance was held Monday afternoon at the Northwest Community Center. Seniors danced to live entertainment by Big J. & The Zydeco Dog Pound and enjoyed refreshments and gumbo.

Drive smart in foggy weather

Driving in fog can be tricky and unsafe. Always exercise caution when fog rolls in. Foggy conditions require drivers to use even more caution and attention to the roads. During the past few weeks I drove to work in the early morning fog.

VFW Post and Auxiliary honors Americanism Essay winners

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8971 and Ladies Auxiliary each year host and sponsor an Americanism essay contest for Eunice students. Students from all Eunice elementary, junior high and high schools enter and participate in the contest.
