Einstein birthday celebrated at Eunice Elementary

Eunice Elementary celebrated the birthday of Albert Einstein by dressing as Einstein. Students on March 14, the birthday of Albert Einstein were recognized along with the recognition of the math symbol pi r squared and The area of a circle is known as pi r squared, 3.

Steve Riley at Liberty Saturday

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by Steve Riley & The Accordion Kings. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, and children ages 7 to 12 are $3.

Cub Scout Pack 430 participates in Pinewood Derby

Cub Scout Pack 430 from Eunice held their annual Pinewood Derby on Feb. 25 at the St. Edmund gym. The boys were given a block of wood and wheels and they created cars that were raced that day. (Submitted Photo)
