Highland kindergarteners learn more about safety

Jordan speaker at ABC retreat

The Acadian Baptist Center near Richard will hold a Women’s Retreat on March 23-24. The speaker and worship leader will be Dawn Smith Jordan, former Miss America of 1986. Jordan has also traveled with the Billy Graham Crusades as a singer.

Class Act Student of the Week

This week’s Student of the Week is David Crader, Jr., a sixth grader at Central Middle School. His parents are Chasidy and David Crader. If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live in Australia, because I love the way they talk.

LeJeune at Liberty Saturday

The “Rendez-vous des Cajuns” Cajun Music Radio & TV show Saturday at the Liberty Center at 6 p.m. will have a performance by Troy LeJeune & Cajun Revue. Show starts at 6 p.m. The Liberty opens at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, and children ages 7 to 12 are $3.
