Emily Ganucheau Paul and Cassie Ganucheau of Eunice announce the birth of their daughter, Emily Grace Ganucheau, born at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette on Sept. 3 weighing 7 pounds and 1 ounce. Maternal grandparents are Clifford and Catherine Jobe of Lafayette.

Eunice High celebrates homecoming week

Eunice High School celebrates homecoming week with assigned dress days for students to participate each day. On Monday, seniors wore togas, and underclassmen wore different colors; Tuesday students dressed as Toddlers; students dressed as their favorite board game or video game character Wednesday.

Representing Richard Elementary School for the Rice Festival are Princess Cheyenne Bergeron and Prince Walker Israel. Both are second graders. Bergeron is the daughter of Scott and Kristin Bergeon and Israel is the son of Cody and McKenzie Israel. The Rice Festival is scheduled for Oct. 17-Oct. 20.

A Doggie Wash Day

The Eunice High School FFA members held a fundraiser Dog Wash at the Tractor Supply lot in Eunice Saturday from 10 until noon. Proceeds from the fundraiser is to benefit the chapter members for an upcoming National FFA Convention to be held in Indiana from Oct. 28-Nov. 1.
