Lemelle named Student of the Year at Central Middle School

Central Middle School’s Principal R. Landry has announced 2016 Student of the Year is fifth-grader Josi Aminah Lemelle.   Landry added, “Josi is a determined student who exhibits excellent character traits.  She is very ambitious, and ambition will continue to reward her with success.

Rene’ named Student of the Year at Eunice Junior High School

Iniya Frances Rene’ is named the 2016 Eunice Junior High Student of the Year.   She was chosen among nine qualifying candidates. Rene’ is an honor student with a current GPA of 3.8. She is active in all classroom discussions, and is currently co-editor of the schools Yearbook committee.

Donovan Jordan Jr. Donovan Jordan Sr. and Candice Jordan of Eunice announce the birth of their son, Donovan Gregory Jordan, Jr. born at Acadian Medical Center on Nov. 16 weighing 5 pounds. Maternal grandparents are Abraham Papillion Jr. and Janice Papillion of Church Point.
