LeBouef wins police chief race
Eunice voters opted for experience and elected Kyle LeBouef as their next chief of police with 54% of the vote.

The chief of police race in Eunice, Kyle LeBouef won the job with 55% of the vote followed by Cody Andrepont with 23% and Varden Guillory with 22%.

St. Landry Parish School Board Joshua Boudreaux has been arrested and charged in incident where he said he shot at a neighbor’s dog, but hit the neighbor, according to a news release from Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
The second Fall into Downtown was held at 2nd Street and Walnut Avenue on Thursday. The crowd was building by sunset as the Grammy-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers performed. Later, Three Thirty Seven would take the stage to a packed downtown.
