Parish sales tax collections continued to rise in July

St. Landry Parish sales tax collections continued to rise in July when they registered an 11% increase for year-to-date total revenue in the parish, according to statistics released by the St. Landry Parish School Board tax division.

EMTL fall registration set The Eunice Men’s Tennis League (EMTL) will begin its 2024 fall season league on Aug. 19. Registration is underway through Aug. 12 at the law office of Terry Hoychick, 141 South 6th, Eunice. Dues are $30. Captains’ meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at Hoychick’s office.
