As the 2022 rice growing season rolls steadily along, rice growers and rice industry professionals gathered recently at the LSU AgCenter’s H. Rouse Caffey Rice Research Station for its 113th annual Rice Field Day.

Eunice city races emerge; police chief is retiring

Several contested races developed in the Eunice municipal elections as qualifying neared an end Friday.
As of Friday morning, there were races for alderman at-large, chief of police, and alderman in Wards 2, 3 and 4.
