CFMA Scholarship to be awarded
CFMA (Cajun French Music Association) Acadiana Charter Chapter will be awarding a $500 scholarship starting with the fall semester, $250 per semester.

City presented Liberty document

The document may be ceremonial, but the mayor and Board of Aldermen were presented a ceremonial document transferring the Liberty Theatre Annex from the National Park Service to the city at Tuesday’s city meeting.

The Satellite Social & Civic Club Inc. will have its annual BBQ Fundraiser from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. July 16.

Eunice Rotary Club inducts officers

A swearing in and induction of new Rotary Club officers and board members was held Wednesday at noon. Judge Ellis Daigle performed the swearing in duties. Jacob Bergeron is the new Rotary Club president. Outgoing president is Coby Clavier.
